54 ULTRA LIVE AT THE ECHOPLEX

54 ULTRA, or Johnny delivered synth pop to Los Angeles at Echoplex. The Puerto Rican took the stage on his North American “Canta Johnny!” Tour.  

Known for his dreamy production and oldie nostalgia, he performed hits such as “Where Are You” and allowed an audience member to dedicate “Heaven Knows” to his girlfriend.

Performing his latest release, “I Won’t Go” and his debut EP, “First Works,” with songs such as “Upside Down” and “No Tengo Valor.” Johnny also teased the crowd with a couple of unreleased songs, rumored to be released in the following months. 

Johnny controlled the stage, dancing across and speaking to the crowd, not at them, connecting to his fellow Latino audience. Shouting out to his fellow Boricuas, but also to the vast number of Mexican fans in the crowd. Accompanied by the moody lights, 54 Ultra delivered an intimate show, further expressing his love for soul pop-rock music to the audience.  

54 Ultra will continue his tour throughout North America through November into 2026, making a stop in Indio, CA for his set at Coachella.
