The 90’s Banda Tour brought generations together for an unforgettable, sold-out Valentine’s Day celebration at Honda Center. Presented by Nederlander Concerts, the star-studded lineup featured Banda Machos, Mi Banda El Mexicano de Casimiro, Banda Los Recoditos, and Banda El Recodo, delivering a night filled with nostalgia, high-energy performances, and timeless hits that had the entire arena on its feet.

The evening kicked off with Mi Banda El Mexicano, who immediately set the tone with their signature dance anthems. Songs like “Ramitos de Violetas,” “Mambo Lupita,” and “No Bailes El Caballito” ignited the crowd, paving the way for Banda Machos to keep the momentum going with classics such as “Me Llamo Raquel” and “La Culebra.” Banda Los Recoditos followed with a powerful set that included “El Sinaloense” and an emotional highlight during “Mi Último Deseo,” as thousands of fans sang along. Lead singer Jorge “Jeypi” Rosas elevated the moment by stepping into the crowd for a heartfelt cover of “No Llega el Olvido,” paying tribute to the late Jenni Rivera.

Headlining the night, Banda El Recodo—widely known as “La Madre de Todas las Bandas”—delivered a commanding closing performance, seamlessly blending festive anthems with romantic ballads befitting the Valentine’s Day atmosphere. Fans called for an encore as the final notes echoed through the venue, continuing to sing even after the band left the stage. The night concluded with members from each banda and event organizers returning to thank the crowd, marking a triumphant celebration of regional Mexican music and a powerful reminder of banda’s ability to unite generations through song and tradition.
