With two exclusive showings sold out for their video premiere, Cuco and Director A.G. Rojas take the stage together to speak on the process and importance behind the creation of Cuco’s latest music video for his song “Dreamin’.” In collaboration with Brain Dead Studios in Los Angeles, California, proceeds from ticket sales were donated directly to CHIRLA, an organization dedicated to helping protect immigrant families targeted by ICE.

Upon arrival, a line of eager fans wrapped around Brain Dead Studios in anticipation of the event. Alongside the video premiere, fans were treated to a Q&A panel discussion in which their questions could be answered directly by Cuco and A.G. Rojas. Whether the questions related to the video itself or touched on something personal fans had always wanted to know outside the music, Cuco and A.G. Rojas created an intimate conversation between themselves and the sold-out crowd. Following the Q&A, fans were invited upstairs for an exclusive meet-and-greet with Cuco.

Standout moments from the Q&A came from Cuco and A.G. Rojas being unafraid to speak out on subjects that are truly important to them. With both holding firm in their stance against ICE, questions arose about the importance of using their platform to address tough topics. Cuco responded,“I am lucky enough to have been born here and have that voice, and I think it is very important to use our voice for the people that can’t,”in response to a question about the significance of speaking out against ICE with the platform he has.

All in all, Cuco and A.G. Rojas gave fans a memorable night with the premiere, Q&A, and meet-and-greet. This may also not be the last time we see a video premiere from Cuco, as he mentioned he is “open to doing something like this again as it was a cool first-time experience.”
