Just days after dropping the deluxe version of his latest album Ridin’, Cuco returned home to Los Angeles and sold out the legendary Greek Theatre. The night marked the fourth stop on his Ridin’ tour, and with 31 more cities still ahead, fans across the country can expect the same magic that lit up LA.

Before Cuco even stepped on stage, the crowd was treated to a stacked lineup of openers that set the tone for the night. Comedian Felipe Esparza had fans laughing out loud, comedic group Foos Got Talent kept the energy rolling, and DJ Jose Galvan spun a lively set to warm up the venue. Depending on the city, the solo comic changes, a fun twist that keeps each tour stop unique.

With the show landing just one day before Mexican Independence Day, Cuco made sure to honor his roots, weaving in heartfelt tributes to the culture that raised him. A highlight came when he covered timeless Latin classics like “Llorar” by Los Socios Del Ritmo and “La Negra Tomasa” by Caifanes, moments that had the crowd singing along with pride. He also treated fans to the full journey of his discography, blending new hits with older fan favorites.

One of the night’s most special surprises was the appearance of longtime collaborator and close friend Jean Carter. Together, they performed their breakout track “Bossa No Sé,” and as the opening chords hit, the packed Greek Theatre erupted, singing every word in unison. Between songs, Cuco made the night even more personal by accepting gifts from fans, signing merch, and sharing heartfelt stories of how much their support has meant over the years. It felt less like a typical concert and more like catching up with an old friend on the biggest stage in the city.

For Cuco, performing at The Greek was more than just another stop on tour. He paused to reflect on how meaningful it was to stand in front of his hometown crowd, calling the moment a dream come true. By the end of the night, it was clear: Cuco isn’t just a great performer — he’s an artist who knows how to turn a concert into a celebration.
