NEW YORK, NY — August 8, 2026 — What started as a breakfast launch turned into a special morning for Danny Ocean fans in New York, as the Venezuelan singer-songwriter joined McDonald’s for a fan experience celebrating full Latin names and the launch of its new Honey Brown Butter Bacon Egg & Cheese Biscuit.

Born in Venezuela, Danny Ocean rose to global recognition with “Me Rehúso,” which became a worldwide hit and has surpassed billions of streams and views. With more than 12 billion career streams, a Billboard No. 1 and two Latin GRAMMY nominations, Ocean has continued to build an international career while staying closely connected to his Venezuelan roots and his fans. His latest EP, Babylona Blue, continues the creative world introduced through Babylon Club. Beyond his music, Ocean has also used his platform to support causes close to him, including the FIFA World Cup 2026™ and Global Citizen’s efforts to expand access to education for children.

The experience took place at a McDonald’s in Forest Hills, where fans began arriving as early as 7 a.m., hours before the event officially began. Some traveled from other states, including Delaware and Ohio, for the opportunity to see Ocean, with excitement building outside as fans waited and chanted his name.

Ocean had teased the experience just days earlier with a Times Square billboard featuring his full name, Daniel Alejandro Morales Reyes, alongside his image and an invitation for fans to join him for breakfast on August 8. The billboard also featured the new Honey Brown Butter Bacon Egg & Cheese Biscuit, available for a limited time.

At the Forest Hills location, McDonald’s transformed part of the parking lot into a small breakfast experience where Ocean greeted fans and handed out breakfast bags. He also signed special items, including Venezuelan hats representing his heritage, before stopping for photos with fans.

Inside, Ocean continued interacting with fans and staff, posing for photos with employees and people waiting in line. A photo station gave fans another opportunity to capture the moment, while a friendship bracelet station featured letter beads and McDonald’s charms. Participants received a shiny red bag as part of the experience.

Another station featured a photo booth-style setup where fans could take pictures with a “desayunaste” message, adding another playful touch to the breakfast theme.

For fans who have followed Ocean for years, the McDonald’s connection felt familiar. The artist has previously shared his go-to McDonald’s order through GQ’s 10 Essentials: a Big Mac without pickles, large fries, Coca-Cola and an apple pie. McDonald’s has also appeared in previous moments between Ocean and his fans.

During his Reflexa listening session in Miami, Ocean surprised fans waiting in line with McDonald’s, a moment that became a memorable part of the experience for those there. In Guatemala, Danny Ocean-branded transportation took fans to his concert, including a special stop for his favorite McDonald’s meal.

Danny Ocean continues to find ways to bring his Venezuelan roots and Latin identity into the moments he shares with his audience. Bringing that spirit to a McDonald’s breakfast in New York made this latest collaboration feel especially meaningful, turning a familiar part of everyday life into another opportunity to celebrate where he comes from and the community he has built around his music.
