Danny Ocean is using the global stage of football to shine a light on a cause far beyond the game. The Venezuelan artist has joined the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, calling on world leaders and fans alike to help ensure children affected by crises can continue accessing education.

His message comes as Venezuela continues recovering from last month’s devastating earthquakes, which have left communities facing long-term challenges, including disruptions to education.

“As Venezuela looks to rebuild following last month’s devastating earthquakes, education programs are likely to face long-term setbacks. That’s why I’m standing with the children of Venezuela by supporting the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund because returning to the classroom isn’t a want — it’s a need,” Danny Ocean shared.

The FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund aims to raise more than $100 million by the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final to expand access to quality education and football for children around the world. The initiative will support education programs alongside FIFA’s Football for Schools program across more than 200 countries, using the global reach of football to invest in future generations.

For Danny Ocean, the campaign carries personal significance. By highlighting Venezuela’s recovery efforts, the singer is emphasizing that rebuilding after a natural disaster goes beyond restoring infrastructure—it also means helping children safely return to classrooms and continue their education.

Through his partnership with the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, Danny Ocean joins a global movement working to create a lasting legacy from the 2026 FIFA World Cup, one that extends beyond the pitch by investing in children’s education worldwide while drawing attention to the urgent needs of communities like those in Venezuela.
