DANNYLUX LEYENDA SPOTIFY SESSION 2025

Dannylux’s newest album, LEYENDA, is a 19-track project from the young Mexican star that dives into past relationships, regret, and reminiscing—something he’s truly a master at. This album features many standout songs like “Sirena,” “Todo Cambió,” “Ya No Llores,” “Leyenda,” “Ya No Estás,” and even tracks that showcase a different sound for Danny, such as “2025.” Though the project was a huge success, Danny shared that it didn’t always feel like it would turn out that way, due to the difficult journey it went through. The title of the album was literally inspired by the hardship behind its creation—about a year ago, Danny’s team’s car was robbed, and with it, the hard drive containing all the original tracks for this album was stolen. Not only did the album have to be recreated from scratch and pushed back, but it also forced Danny into a pivotal point in his career where the only option was to move forward and grow from the experience—and that’s exactly what this album represents.

We were lucky enough to be invited to Dannylux’s Spotify listening session in Los Angeles, where Spotify welcomed an exclusive group of his fans to their headquarters. Danny not only played the album live for his biggest supporters, but Spotify also provided complimentary food, drinks, merch, and time to interact with Danny himself. Spotify continues to create meaningful experiences for music fans across L.A., from last year’s La Tierra de Música Mexicana to this exclusive Leyenda Dannylux event, giving fans the chance to connect with the artists they love. From the amazing Mexican food to custom Dannylux shirts, photobooths, and even a red carpet for photos, the entire event was packed with memorable details.

Once the fans had settled in and the energy was right, an announcement called everyone to the stage where Danny and his bandmates appeared and greeted the crowd. Danny took the time to thank every single person for being there and supporting his newest project. After sharing his heartfelt message, he grabbed the microphone and did what he does best—perform. I’ve been lucky enough to see Danny live several times, but watching him perform this new album with its fresh tracks showed just how much he’s grown not only as a person, but also as an artist. One of the most memorable moments of the night was Danny giving a brief story before each song, breaking down its meaning and sharing personal memories of writing and recording them with his band.

Spotify truly created a special night—not just for fans of Dannylux, but for the entire city of Los Angeles. It’s not every day you get to see one of your favorite artists, and one of Regional Mexican’s biggest rising stars, perform in such an intimate venue.
