The start of 2025 was a challenging one for Los Angeles, as the city grappled with multiple devastating wildfires that left hundreds of families displaced and entire communities in ruins. Yet, amid these hardships, one thing became abundantly clear: not only do Angelenos have a deep love for their city, but the artists who shape its cultural legacy do as well. One such artist, Deorro—a renowned Latin DJ signed to Double P Records—stepped up to host a benefit concert in support of those affected by the fires.
The event, aptly named “Deorro & Friends,” united some of the biggest names in Latin music, including Santa Fe Klan, Jasiel Núñez, Código FN, and Dareyes de la Sierra, all coming together for a powerful cause. Held at Exchange LA in downtown Los Angeles, the event pledged that 100% of proceeds would be donated to wildfire victims.
Deorro, already a pioneering figure in the electronic music scene, demonstrated his commitment to his hometown by organizing an event that transcended music. His collaboration with Double P Records and their artist roster was a testament to their shared dedication to giving back, proving that their impact extends far beyond the stage.

Fans lined up early outside the venue, eager to secure the best spots for what promised to be a night full of surprises. The line snaked around the block, a clear sign of the event’s popularity—tickets had sold out within minutes. As the doors opened, Exchange LA buzzed with energy. Fans quickly found their places, reserving table service and getting ready for an unforgettable night. Though the headliner was still hours away, the crowd was already on its feet, moving to the high-energy beats of the opening acts. Known for its rave scene, Exchange LA did not disappoint—fans were already immersed in the experience as Deorro’s crew prepped for the main event.
One standout moment was Deorro himself, personally engaging with fans and the press before hitting the stage. He took the time to connect, answering questions and expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support—an act that underscored his authenticity and appreciation for those who had come together for a cause bigger than music.
As the night progressed, the energy inside the venue became electric. The lights dimmed, the music faded, and the crowd erupted into chants of “Deorro! Deorro! Deorro!” The anticipation reached a fever pitch as Deorro made his grand entrance, escorted to the stage like a prizefighter stepping into the ring. Wearing his signature LA cap and Louis Vuitton sunglasses, he greeted the crowd with a simple, “What’s up, LA, are we ready?” The deafening response set the tone for the night as the beat dropped and the audience exploded with excitement.

Wasting no time, Deorro brought out his first wave of special guests—Código FN, Adriel Favela, and Oscar Ortiz. These weren’t just collaborators; they were close friends who had worked with him on numerous tracks. The trio delivered electrifying performances, celebrating both their collective musical journey and the night’s philanthropic purpose. As the event continued, the surprises kept coming, including a legendary performance from Dareyes de la Sierra. The group, known for its impact on the Regional Mexican music scene with hits like “De Fresa y Coco,” “Poco a Poco,” and “VVS,” joined Deorro on stage, tossing Mexican flags into the crowd in a powerful celebration of culture and music.
As the night neared its climax, the final two surprise guests took the stage: Jasiel Núñez and Santa Fe Klan. Their performances, featuring hits like “Corazón Frío” and “Por Mi México,” captivated the audience. But what truly made their appearances unforgettable were the unreleased tracks they performed alongside Deorro, offering fans an exclusive preview of upcoming collaborations. The crowd’s response was overwhelming, solidifying the excitement surrounding Deorro’s evolving sound.
Beyond the music, the night was a monumental success in terms of impact. It will be remembered as a defining moment for Deorro, Double P Records, and Los Angeles. The unity between the artists and their unwavering support for those affected by the wildfires spoke volumes about their character. As Deorro wrapped up his set, he addressed the crowd one last time, reaffirming that all proceeds from the event would go directly to wildfire victims. The ensuing cheers were deafening, a testament to the power of music in bringing people together during times of adversity.
With new music on the horizon and a steadfast commitment to his community, Deorro continues to make waves—not just in the music industry, but in the city that shaped him as much as he has shaped it. Special thanks to Exclusive Agency, Double P. Records, and Insomniac for making this event possible.
