FABIAN and ROBI reunite on “Líneas Paralelas,” a new experimental pop single about two
people who try to keep their distance but continue finding their way back to one another. The release follows their previous collaboration with Venezuelan singer-songwriter GUS on “De Sastre.”

The song marks another step in the musical chapter FABIAN has been building after “Golpe” and “Pared.” The Peruvian-American singer-songwriter and producer moves into a bolder pop sound while preserving the emotional honesty at the center of his work.
ROBI’s perspective gives the song another emotional layer. “When FABIAN showed me the song, I felt like it spoke about something we have all experienced at some point,” he shared. “There are stories that you try to leave behind, but they always find a way to return.”

Built around the idea of two people repeatedly returning to the same point, “Líneas Paralelas” captures the tension between pretending not to care and accepting that desire, familiarity, and chemistry are still there.
Lyrics including “Seguimos aquí / buscando medir / dándole vueltas a lo que no tiene fin” and “Dos líneas paralelas / que al final sí se encuentran” transform parallel lines into a metaphor for a relationship that appears impossible but continues repeating itself as something inevitable.
Rather than attempting to explain the relationship or offer a clear resolution, the song remains within its emotional uncertainty.
The collaboration finds a natural creative balance between FABIAN and ROBI. Their voices construct the same story from different perspectives, bringing FABIAN’s increasingly experimental pop direction together with ROBI’s emotionally direct approach.
ROBI has continued gaining momentum in 2026 following the release of his debut full-length album, sorry si soy GRRRIS, and the success of “BRRREAK.” Blending pop, reggaeton, and emotionally driven urban sounds, the project has further established his identity as one of the rising voices of a new generation.
For FABIAN, “Líneas Paralelas” follows several important career moments. After releasing “Golpe” and “Pared,” he appeared at Casa ¡HOLA!, an exclusive Miami event centered on the city’s role as one of the host locations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. There, he presented part of his new music to guests from the business, cultural, and creative industries.
FABIAN also performed alongside Reik in Lima on May 14 and appeared at Festival Selvamonos on June 27. On July 30, he will perform at the BMI Acoustic Showcase during LAMC, adding another key stage to a growing schedule spanning Peru, the United States, and the broader Latin music industry.
At 22, FABIAN continues carving out his own place within Latin pop. Signed to Universal Music Latino, he has worked with producers including Julio Reyes Copello and Puche and has opened for artists such as Jason Mraz, Lasso, and Reik.
His career has also earned recognition from Rolling Stone en Español’s Future of Music and VEVO Newcomers 2026. His debut EP, NIÑO BUENO (2025), introduced an artistic identity grounded in observation and emotional honesty, while his latest releases continue expanding that identity through a more ambitious and experimental sound.
With “Líneas Paralelas,” FABIAN and ROBI highlight the creative chemistry between two fast-rising artists while reflecting the strength and momentum of the emerging generation shaping Latin music.
“Líneas Paralelas” is available now on all digital streaming platforms.
