HUMBE’s song “fantasmas” took the internet by storm, with social platforms such as TikTok seeing fans across the world use its heartfelt lyrics to create beautiful, emotional content. But long before “fantasmas” reached a mainstream audience, HUMBE had already been writing some of the most beautiful and talented music in the Latin space, even landing major collaborations with artists such as LATIN MAFIA, Reik, and Sebastián Yatra.
The Monterrey-born rising star made his way to Los Angeles for a special appearance at the Grammy Museum, where he sat down for a one-on-one interview with music journalist Thomas Meir to speak about his career, his highly anticipated tour, and his creative process—sharing the experience directly with his fans in person.

The event was held at the legendary Grammy Museum in the heart of L.A. Live, where HUMBE was met with a sold-out audience eager to hear his in-depth interview session. HUMBE’s music represents a new era of Latin artists, particularly from Mexico, who have been making major waves in the Latin music industry. His heartwarming lyrics paired with electronic-infused production allow fans to instantly connect with his sound across social platforms, helping his music resonate on a global level. Staying true to his name, HUMBE arrived with open arms—genuinely excited to see his fans and speak about his biggest passion: music.

As the Mexican artist gears up for his “DUEÑO DEL CIELO” U.S. tour next month, he was able to speak with us about his creative process and how much his life and career have changed from his early days as a rising artist to now becoming a successful singer-songwriter. HUMBE shared that this marked his first return to Los Angeles in quite some time, acknowledging how performing in the city is a dream for artists around the world. He also expressed that this new project, DUEÑO DEL CIELO, taught him lessons no other project had before—moments that made him realize just how special this era of his career truly is.

The night continued with HUMBE engaging directly with fans, answering questions about topics ranging from dream collaborations to future projects. Fans erupted with excitement when he mentioned that working with LATIN MAFIA is a dream of his—and hinted that something could be coming sooner than expected. The evening closed with a live performance from HUMBE, where he performed three songs followed by a final encore, giving Los Angeles a small taste of what fans can expect at his upcoming shows. The performance featured live instrumentation and beautifully calming sounds from each band member. HUMBE’s success is truly a dream come true, and with his tour kicking off March 5 in Brooklyn and returning to Los Angeles on April 9 and 11, the City of Angels is more than ready to welcome him back.
