Justin Bieber is bringing his global platform to a cause focused on children’s education around the world.

FIFA and Global Citizen announced that Bieber will co-headline the first-ever FIFA World Cup™ Final Halftime Show, taking place on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at New York New Jersey Stadium. He joins Madonna, Shakira, and BTS for a historic performance that brings together music, football, and global impact on one of the world’s biggest stages.
But this moment is not only about the performance. The halftime show will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, an initiative working to raise USD $100 million to expand access to quality education and football opportunities for children worldwide.
According to Global Citizen, the fund has already raised more than USD $50 million, with USD $1 from every ticket sold to FIFA World Cup 2026™ matches being donated throughout the tournament.
“The FIFA World Cup brings the world together in a way nothing else can. I’m grateful to be part of this Halftime Show, and even more grateful knowing it’s already helping expand access to education for children around the world,” Justin Bieber shared in a statement.
For Bieber, this marks another moment where his influence goes beyond music. Through Global Citizen, he is using one of the most visible stages in the world to help amplify a mission centered on children, education, and opportunity.
The 11-minute halftime show will also feature Burna Boy, Gustavo Dudamel, and PS22 Chorus, the acclaimed choir of 4th and 5th grade students from a public elementary school in Staten Island, New York, featuring Coldplay. The show is being curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin and produced by Global Citizen in partnership with Live Nation and Done + Dusted.
The performance will also include appearances from Sesame Street and The Muppets, reinforcing the show’s education-focused mission through characters that have inspired generations of children around the world.
Global Citizen Co-Founder and CEO Hugh Evans described the show as “the single largest gathering of artists united for a cause since Live Aid,” highlighting the scale of a moment designed to bring people together through music, hope, and action.
With Justin Bieber joining Madonna, Shakira, BTS, and other global artists, the first-ever FIFA World Cup™ Final Halftime Show is set to become more than a historic entertainment moment. It is a reminder of how music and sport can come together to help create real opportunities for children around the world.
