Kali Uchis is one of the most notable and recognizable women in the music industry today. Not only does she fuse an alternative sound with Latin reggaeton style, but she has also paved the path for many Latinas in both society and music. The Colombian superstar only grows more with each passing year, not just as an artist but also as a human being making a powerful impact and influence on women everywhere. Recently, she welcomed her newborn to the world, becoming a mother, and typically when this happens, we expect artists to take a hiatus—but Kali Uchis did the complete opposite. It felt as if there was a new drive and source of motivation, and this was clearly shown through the huge success of her most recent studio album, Sincerely. The 14-track project carried the same authentic Kali Uchis sound but felt like a new era in her career. Released earlier this May, the album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, giving Kali her third consecutive top-10 album. Songs such as Sunshine & Rain, ILYSMIH, and All I Can Say have been standouts, building major anticipation for her newest tour, The Sincerely, Tour 2025.

The tour announcement shocked the music industry and became the talk of social media as the Colombian star was set to take the stage at arenas across North America. She scheduled stops in major U.S. cities like New York, Miami, Chicago, and of course Los Angeles. Not only was the tour highly anticipated, but demand was overwhelming—selling out two nights at the iconic Kia Forum almost instantly. Live Nation quickly announced a third show at Inglewood's Intuit Dome slated for later in the month, and fans are ready to dress up and sing the night away with the queen herself.

I was lucky enough to witness and cover one of her concerts, and my eyes were in disbelief at the sheer number of fans who did more than just show up—they lived every single moment with Kali Uchis. It’s always a beautiful scene when I see fans go the extra mile with custom merch, banners, and outfits inspired by the artist’s themes. It means so much more than just another concert; it becomes a full experience. Kali’s fans are not only loyal but passionate, supporting every step of her career. Many showed up hours early not just to queue but to secure a spot to watch Thee Sacred Souls open before her set. Fans dressed in looks from across all of Kali’s eras—flower dresses, gowns, and elegant pieces inspired by her newest album.

The night itself was pure magic. It was the second show I had the chance to attend, and it might have been the best of all two sold-out Forum nights. Night 1 had already gone viral online when Peso Pluma joined Kali as a surprise guest, but nothing compared to what unfolded on night 2. Mid-set, as fans were singing and dancing, Steve Lacy suddenly appeared on stage to perform alongside his “sister” Kali Uchis. The surprises didn’t stop there—SZA also came out to join the show, and Omar Apollo made a humorous appearance, waving to fans though not performing. The energy was electric as fans went wild witnessing these stars celebrate Kali on her special night.

Kali Uchis’ music is a true testament to Latin artistry in the industry. Her authenticity is what has not only kept her relevant but has made her an essential artist of her generation. When Kali drops a song, people listen immediately; when she drops an album, fans are ready to embrace a new era in their lives. As she continues The Sincerely, Tour across North America, selling out show after show, Kali proves she’s not just performing—she’s cementing her legacy. She stamped her mark on the music industry years ago, and with this tour, she’s only making that mark even greater.

Tickets for her future shows are available on Live Nation’s website. Photos shot + edited by Joseph Hernandez Torrejon Article written by Joseph Hernandez Torrejon
