Los Angeles, CA — Regional Mexican superstars Marca MP have officially released their highly anticipated new album, Historias Mal Contadas, on October 30, 2025. The project features new hits including “Mato,” “HDTPM,” and “Sin Mi,” delivering a raw blend of emotion and lyricism with the familiar Marca MP sound that fans have come to love.

The group celebrated the album’s debut with an exclusive release party in Los Angeles, attended by several industry figures and media representatives. As the audience settled in, Marca MP arrived for a Q&A session, donning the blue industrial jumpsuits seen on the album cover, framed against a stack of flickering TVs—a striking visual nod to their new artistic direction. Following the session, the band took the stage to perform select tracks from the album for the very first time, leaving the crowd speechless and solidifying expectations that Historias Mal Contadas will be one of their most impactful projects yet.

With a career that has firmly established them as key figures in modern Mexican music, Pedro Vargas “Chato” (lead vocals and guitar), Omar Valdivia (guitar), Ernesto Franco (tuba), and Ismael Villano (tololoche) continue to push their sound and visuals into a more mature and introspective phase—without losing the essence that defines Marca MP. Across the 11-track album, the group showcases their evolution in storytelling, sound, and aesthetics, evident in recent releases like “HDTPM” featuring Edgardo Núñez, “Desde Que La Vi” with Emmanuel Cortés, and “Sin Mi.”

The focus track, “Guasón,” captures a bolder and more unfiltered side of Marca MP. With lyrics centered on power, attraction, and carefree celebration, the song embodies the group’s confidence and charisma, blending their signature energy with a refined edge. Its accompanying video reflects this new era visually—set in a minimalist urban landscape following the band through the city’s metro system, balancing strength with introspection as Chato delivers a commanding yet reflective performance.

With Historias Mal Contadas, Marca MP reaffirms their place as one of the most consistent and influential groups of the past decade—carrying the flag of regional Mexican music to new generations and international stages while continuing to evolve and stay true to their identity.
