NSQK’s music is truly one of a kind. His sound is not only original, but his voice seamlessly transitions from slow, love-driven songs to electric lo-fi beats — where he also showcases his rapping skills. NSQK is a prime example of the future of the Latin music genre, especially as a Mexican artist making a name for himself in the reggaetón and Latin urban subgenres. I was lucky enough to cover NSQK just over a year ago at an iconic venue — The Roxy in Hollywood, CA. Fast forward to today, and here we are at Sueños Music Festival in Chicago, Illinois, where he’s now one of the opening acts at a major music festival. NSQK’s journey to fame is not only a success story but also one of pace and momentum — and he’s carried it all flawlessly.

NSQK’s daytime set felt more like a late co-headlining slot, with the massive crowd that showed up to support him — especially fans dressed in orange, representing the theme of his 2024 album ATP. His fanbase took social media by storm when they saw our live content of NSQK, and they definitely showed up in person too, singing and dancing along to every song. NSQK has grown a lot since the last time I saw his live set — not only in his career but also in his look and stage presence. He performed all his biggest hits, including “MIATA,” “misa,” “BOBOMENSOTONTO,” “tarde o temprano,” and many more. Not only are NSQK’s vocals genuinely impressive live, but he’s also known for interacting with the crowd and cracking jokes, which had the audience laughing throughout.

NSQK’s live set was a clear sign of his rising success — a statement to the world that he’s growing faster and bigger than ever before. In an interview I had with him last year, I asked how it felt to perform in front of thousands of fans, and he laughed and said, “Not yet, but maybe one day.” Looking back at that interview now, it feels surreal — here he is, opening for some of the biggest names in the Latin industry (including himself) and performing in front of thousands of fans in Chicago. NSQK is well on his way to becoming one of the biggest stars in the Latin music space. As he continues touring across Spain and Mexico for his upcoming shows, we’ll be here in full support of his journey.
