ROBI, "GOOD VIBES" VERIZON & COMPLEX CONCERT

Verizon and Complex continue to bring Latin music across the United States with their exclusive concert series. Not only have these concerts been intimate, but they’ve also offered rising artists major exposure and given real fans a chance to interact up close at carefully selected locations. Most recently, Verizon and Complex brought Puerto Rican rising star Robi to Los Angeles, where a select number of fans were invited to experience not only a live performance, but a series of immersive moments designed around Robi’s unique style and energy.

Upon arrival, guests were checked in and greeted with Puerto Rican and Bolivian-style empanadas provided by Carmen’s Empanadas. As you made your way further into the venue, there was an exclusive Robi mini van bar, where servers offered custom-made Robi-themed drinks for fans to enjoy before the show. Naturally, photo booths were scattered around so fans could take photos and get them printed on the spot. Just before entering the stage area, guests were also able to create custom Robi bandanas, screen printed on-site by LA-based brand Individualist.

After spending the evening enjoying all the gifts and activations brought to them by Verizon and Complex, fans eventually made their way to the stage area—eagerly gathering and pushing forward to get the best view. Phones were out and everyone waited patiently for the music to begin, but instead of a dramatic entrance, Robi ran straight on stage with no warning, greeting fans directly. The move made the night feel even more personal—setting the tone for something way more intimate than your average large-scale concert. Robi introduced himself and performed some of his biggest songs, including “sorry es que soy bipolar,” “Lienzo,” “Pantysito,” and his latest hit “Café de Barcelona.” His energy never dropped, making every moment worthwhile for those who showed up early to support their favorite artist.
